Maple Springs Saturday 26th

Looks like this is going to be a nice sunny weekend for the last weekend that Maple Springs will be open riding.

I'm going to do back to back loops Sat and Sun, and plan to start riding at 8:30.

Who's going to be out there this weekend?

Shaping up to be a gorgeous weekend! 8) I'll be out there tomorrow, definitely.

Can't do Sunday, but will make one last run next Wednesday(3/30), about 9:00a. Probably an up and back to Santiago Peak, so I can descend that doubletrack we spied last weekend. Should be a fun way to wrap the MS "season."

I'll be there

yeah right!!!

I'll be there, probably between 8:30 and 9:00.

Right on Steven! You better complete it this time with no excuses. I'll probably just ride Aliso Sunday morning since I am missing that place.

Hey BD, do you have the shock pump adapter for Marzocchi forks? I lost mine and I want to add some preload b4 the ride. Can you believe a bike shop (to remain nameless) wanted $20 for that thing??? Where's the "you gots to be trippin'" Emoticon for that?

mizniz, i do have a shock pump that I always carry with me and it will work for your fork. I used it on my awesome stock MARZ MX COMP that came with my bike.

Im swapping my tires tonight, 2.3 weirwolf going up front and my 2.1 kenda klaw going on the rear. i already ramped up the psi in my rear shock, my FOX shorts are ready to go.

im looking forward to the ride.

ill call ya tonight mizniz.

FXrob, i may be down to do aliso sunday with ya, want to start from the neighborhood?

I'll be showing up probably around 8:30. Blue Ford F150, Blue Specialized Enduro, name's Russ. Looks like no Newcastle tonite; gotta get to bed before 1.  [-X

I'm going to try and get there by 8:30.
I work until 1:00am - I'll have to see if I can drag my butt out of bed.

i'll be joining you guys tomorrow, but where do i park or where do i go, once i turn left on Silverado Canyon Rd. from Santiago Canyon Rd.??

Take that road all the way until it dead ends, I believe its about 4.5 miles long or something. You'll drive through a small town and then you'll see the parking lot. Last Saturday the lot was full, so many of us had to park on the side of the road about 1/4 mile from the trailhead. The lot isn't that big, there is a sign that says Adventure Passes are required to park, but I'm not sure if that applies to that lot or if you park on the other side of the lot/gate.

also as you go up the road, on your right you will see the market where the boulder came through the wall and killed that poor girl. you can see where the thing started and the path it took... :(

Its a ghosttown around here. Glad ya like my avatar, i can make you one if ya want!!! =)
