Ride Report Mammoth

Had a grat weekend riding with some of my favortie riders. You know we wer having a fun time when nobody really wants to stop and take pictures.

Big ups to Mr Basketball Happy Gilmore. After a great day of riding, we had a few ahh several drinks then decide it would be a GREAT idea to play a two on two game at 8,000 feet. Man we're dumb. Happy and DH glory vs. myself and our friend Brian. Damn that was fun.

More props to Bryguy for flying through the DC rock garden. It made me want to try it. I got to the bottom and had some foot placment issue and had to bail, it's really not as bad as it seems. I really wanted to go back and try it again on Sunday but, alas I had to hurry home to the awaiting Birthday celebration.

What really sucks it I thought I had had enough and was ready for the snow season. Screw that I want more gravity riding already. Mammoth I miss you!!!

Haha, I think everybody on the mountain took notice of her over the weekend. I hope she starts a new trend and I'll visit Mammoth more often. Can't let the Mammoth bikini skiers and boarders take all the attention :clap:

We were there on closing weekend and I saw the bootyshorts girl too. I can also attest to her lack of skills. She was walking her bike down the steps outside of the gondola.

I saw that chick 2 weeks ago when i was in Mammoth as well. She looked gooooooood. But then again my mind could have been clouded cause i was surrounded by dudes all weekend and every girl looked like a 10 out of 10... :?:

The Kernville crew and I had a great weekend. They had to chase us off the mountain both days. It seemed to be a weekend of going big. I saw Scotty, Dano, Ann, Andy, Chris and Winston all hit new stuff. Progression feels good. It is just too bad the season is over.

Here is the birthday boy on Shock Treatment

Ann was determined to ride the ladders. She busted out a very clean run. Sweet!

Scotty on his first Flow drop. He nailed it.

Chris and Scotty were flying in formation on the wall ride.

Winston does the second log ride. Another first?

The doubles at the bottom of Shotgun were awesome. Chris shows some style

A bad ass trip for sure. It is always great hanging out with Dean, Lynn, Andy, and Ann. Winston proved to be an outstanding houseguest. When is the next roadtrip?

Oh and I really have to thank Chuck (HappyGilmore) for saving me a LOOOONG walk up to the parking lot from town... I missed the last shuttle AND had Mark's car key... LOL what an adventure! Thank you Chuck sooo much for coming and picking me up!

Any time Tara, after waiting at the village shuttle stop, then driving up the street to Shotguns trail end, hanging out there for 20 minutes I began to contemplate calling Mammoth rescue, about that time a group of rider were coming out of the trail, when I asked if they had seen a cute Burnett on a Socom they smiled and said Oh Yes !!!....seems you were as popular as booty girl.

After several beers It took us 1-1/2 hours to score 20 points, nobody could even hit the backboard let alone score, I'm still hurting from being covered by Brian, just glad it ended when it did, I'm sure I was seconds away from full cardiac arrest.

I'm pretty sure this pic was Sunday, because Saturdays shorts sure looked more like a Bikini bottom
