I went up to Mammoth this weekend and did some awesome rides. We started on Saturday by taking the gondola up to the top of the mountain and riding some of the upper trails. A few of the trails were closed so there was a lot of turning around and trying to find another trail down the mountain that wasn't all about 'hucking'... Sunday we rode from town up to the main lodge and rode down Paper Trail and Downtown. Both trails were open, although a little wet from the previous night's storm. Lot's of fun single track and not very crowded. The weather was great too at a cool 77 degrees! The guys going up the first weekend in August should have a great time!!!

Man, I'm itching to do a Mammoth trip. I think I need to round up the troops and make a run sometime in September. Now to figure out how to break it to the wife & kids.
