FLOW
Just got back from a week of riding up at Mammoth. Weather was awesoms except for one afternoon of really sever thundershowers. It produced lots of rain which is good cuz the trails were packed down and the dust was low.
Theres still lots of snow so a few trails were closed. You can still ride them but youll be hiking through snow and water crossings. Theres even a snow patch on the downtown trail! The mountain is building a couple more trails but FLOW was the only one done and ready when I was there. FLOW I think was double BLACK DIAMOND. It must of been because there was literally a 20 foot drop on it!!
I also did the Tuesday evening race that Mammoth Sporting Goods puts one. I did SPORT class, it was 3 laps of 2.5 miles around Shady Rest Park. Not sure how I finished yet but I feel I did pretty good. THeres was about 90 racers totals, so it was crowded on the trails.
Mammoth is the place to ride! GO!
