My friend and I rode this Sunday and it was one for the ages. We did the section between Encinal Cyn Rd and Mesa Peak. It is an excellent mixture of very lush canyons, steep climbs and decents, awesome views of the ocean and mountains, and even some Moab-like rock formations. I highly recommend it to intermediate or better riders, especially in the spring. In summer it can get punishingly hot on the climbs, which tend to be pretty exposed to the sun and very steep. But yesterday was a perfect day with temps about 70 degrees and everything green. A little rain the night before was just enough to eliminate dust. Here are a few pics- more on the gallery under Other Trails.
Here's the geoladders link for most of it (except for Corral to Mesa Peak): http://www.geoladders.com/gmap_display.php?select_mode=0&city_map=1&route=144
