A very early morning Limestone Canyon IRC ride this morning. It was misty and muddy ... but never actually rained. I would normally skip a wet ride, but I was doing this one with people I know, so didn't want to bail.
Since it was muddy, the docents came up with an alternative route, which was pretty fun and included climbing Limestone Ridge to the East Sinks, water tower and then back down to the brand new trail called Creek Trail (which is a fork off Limestone Ridge). Pretty fun with some exposure and some well made switchbacks. I look forward to actually going fast on it one of these days when I am not stuck behind a docent. Creek Trail has two creek crossings and eventually ends up at the staging area for Red Rock Canyon.
From there we climbed Red Rock Trail 5 and descended Trail 1, which is/was an Over The Hump downhill. Good fun.

Not thrilled about the muddy bike, but I need to do some maintenence on it this week anyway, so it won't be too bad to clean when it's all taken apart.
