Lance: The Official Lance Armstrong Thread

I heard yesterday one of the owners of Hermosa Tours who is also know as Sandy Utah or as some of us know him as Fullface Nate took 7th.That's freekin world class! And most everyone here knows Manny. Nate used to be a local here too till they moved out to CO and now have Hermosa going.

That video was very well done and I just hope Lance comes back to try again.
 
Lining up with Lance @ the Tahoe Sierra 100??

Racer reg closes August 31st for the Tahoe Sierra 100 solos and teams.Teams will be doing a 33 mile high country course along side the best Ultra racers in world. Team Trek with 7 time world champion Chris Eatough, NU 100 series points leader Jeff Schalk and top racer Jeremiah Bishop. Big time racer from Cannondale Tinker Juarez. Dez Wilder from (Bear naked/Cannondale), Harlen Price racing with ( Independent Fabircation)Top Colorado racer Josh Tostado. Nor-Cals own Yuri Hauswald (Marin)
2 place in points on the NU 100 series Racing for Scott, Evan Plews. let's not forget the gals. This will turn out to be a great race as Team Treks Top racer Cheryl Sornson racing agianst 3 time La Ruta winner Louise Kobin, still not sure about Rebecca Rush? But Coolest 24 hr winner SS crazy women Dawn Bean and Ronda Figone along with Breckenridge 100 winner Amanda Riley Carey and top 24 hr racer Timari Pruis and so many other great racers.

Looks like Deejay Birch SS madman and Linda Eckhart cazy women in the SS class and some guy named Lance? Whats the worlds coming to? No Hotels, just racing, camping beer , music and a whole lot of dam good people people

I am pretty stoked to be lining up with such a cool field this Saturday. Maybe I will shift gears and become an over-trained photo journalist instead? Or maybe I will be that guy (like in the NY Marathon) that charges out in front for the first couple of miles to get on TV. I bet even with an all out effort I still couldn't beat Lance to aid station 1. ;)

well...i guess the lance thing was just some rumor. but here is some quick news from the tahoe sierra 100.

jeremiah bishop and chris eatough finish hand in hand, first place at 7:02. josh tostado finished at 8:23. 12 hours of temecula #2 winner dez wilder finished 2nd in the singlespeed cat. with a 7:49.

i saw tinker there on saturday but didn't see him during the race...maybe he dnf'ed or pulled out last minute.

all in all the race was a tough one but i conquered. finished in 9:27 for a top 25 result in open men....stoked!!!
