First mountain bike ride in nearly three weeks, and I decided on Laguna. Parked at Nix and rode Stagecoach over to Willow and up. Cleaned Willow, so I must still be in some kind of reasonable shape.

Over to Ol' Emerald, and that one suffered from the rains, especially the 2nd part after the switchback. There was a sign up saying it will be closed for maintenance December 1st and 2nd, so I would imagine they will fix it. Just deep, muddy ruts. Their last work where they said they were rain proofing it did not work, LOL.

Up Emerald which is such a slog, then over to and down June Downhill. That one is basically one continuous rut all the way down. The rain did it no favors.

Then up BVD and a quick Missing Link and Fenceline which were both in great shape. Over to Lizards and there is one significant area of mud on the downhill section of part one, but other than that all clear.

Over to Camarillo and yeah, that one took a beating. It is extra rocky and chunky, which I don't think is a bad thing. Much more of a challenge now than in the past.

It was, of course, a beautiful day. Visibly and also because I had the day off work, lol.

That is such an amazing view! Southern California is one of the most beautiful places on the planet, IMO
