Need help my friend. I had some problems at work and now I am left with a real swollen knee. I will go Monday to a health clinic that my work will require. After I need to see a real knee doctor. Tell me who and a number please. I live just north of Long Beach CA. The city is paramount. Thank you for your time. :?::?::?::welcome::?::?::?:#-o
Everyone has an opinion on this. Below is my knee Dr. He is a sports med dr who has numerous professional athlete clients. He has an amazing calm demeanor and a willingness to explain what he is going to do and why. He video tapes your surgery and watches it with you and explains what he did and why. Best part, surgery is always the last option. William E Shobert Inc 26010 Acero # 100 Mission Viejo, CA 92691 Phone: (949) 768-5000
Definitly find a sport medicine doctor. I used Kerlan Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic and I think they have an office near LB. Hope you heal fast.
+1 for Kerlan Jobe. I'd highly recommend Neal Ellatrache. He's operated on both of my shoulders and several friends' knees.
+1 for Shobert. He was my doctor when i was still playing baseball for my elbow. And now i'm a PT Aide and i work with some of his patients. He is a rock solid doc and have seen pretty good results for his patients. And surgery is always the LAST option with him
Sorry to dig up an old thread. My insurance no longer is in network with Shobert. Any other recommendations for another sports or cycle orthopedist in South Orange County?
Not cycling specific, but check Dr Kent Marangi in Mission Viejo. It's been about 15 years since I've seen him (thank goodness) but he did a great job on my compound ankle fracture back then and was our mountainbike team's unofficial team doctor.. I think he is still team physician for Saddleback college and Capo valley HS. http://www.comg.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=68&Itemid=125
