June 3rd Southridge Race

Thanks coach Justin ... I've done some long road rides (a 40 miler and a 60-miler) ... and I'm riding last year's Hellride course this weekend on a rented Nomad. Sound like enough training?!

 

dude, i'm totally joking with ya! :lol: the 62-mile road ride involved a lot of climbing. now that i have lacey's bike, though, i can train on mountain.

 

If you aren't wishing for your SS halfway through Sat's ride there is something wrong with you!

I'm bummed that I didn't get to race Sun. I'm glad to see you stepped up and won. Way to go. Looks like I have my work cut out for me this next year. Congrats.

I'd be down for this. It would need to be an early AM thing since it will be getting so hot out there soon, but I'd like to keep my "Fontana fitness" going. I did much better when I was racing there every two weeks during the winter series.

By the way, thanks to all the Incycle folks for the hospitality at the race. I enjoyed practicing and hanging with you guys. The shade from your EZ-up didn't suck either.

i think it's funny how "unsure" lee seemed about his performance (between race runs) ... just goes to show! congrats! i bet you can't wait 'till november.

 

I do look fast,,, i guess that proves that pictures can lie.....

 

I dont care how good I get on a bike I will never be the guy bragging how easy certain rides are. lol

 

Has anyone found results for the Cal. state final yet?

 

Funny you just posted this...I was just looking: not there yet. It takes time, I guess, and it's only been just over a week.

I also need to look for some of the photographer's web sites.

 

I've been checking all the usual sites, but nothing yet. I saw one photographer stationed in the same place near the top of the course for some of Sunday practice and both race runs, but I don't know who he was.
