It's my first RR so go easy on me :D

After a long week (I know it's only Wednesday) of late nights and early mornings and midterms, i decided that i needed to unwind with a bike ride. Luckily i got out of class early today and had 2 hours to kill. I had been scouting out a place near my dorm on Google Earth that was called, "Suicide Hill," so i decided now would be the perfect time to go. Unfortunately, it was REALLY windy, which made for an interesting ride....

I ride up the street, to the park, and find the usual nature park warnings:

    And then stairs?

    And more stairs...

    And more stairs!

By now i had enough of hiking my bike up so i was really for some riding.
Then i reach the peak and i'm greeted with a wonderful view..

And my usual stomping grounds around the UCI observatory

And of course, cameras in Irvine...

By now i had reached the hill, and to my surprise, it was a suicide hill. This thing was nearly vertical at times! i was in for some more hiking

And i had reached the top, but it was a pain in the A**! it then became impassable with a bike, so i hiked it back down. I could easily have hiked this with out a bike, but it was near impossible with. So i turned around and found a little trail on the other side of the hill that i rode on for a little while, but my battery died so i don't have any more pictures.

The ride back was fun, the wind was so bad it was pushing me to one side and slowing me down on the down hills!

It was an interesting ride, but at least i got out of the dorm...

I have gone down those stairs a bunch of times and they are fun.

Go around that peak counter clockwise makes for a pretty fun little loop

This was my go to riding area when time was short, now with the Quail Trail open I got more options.
