I read your comment on Irvine Bicycles (formerly known as Sand Canyon Cyclery Crooks)
Sorry for the experience you had to go through with them. However, I had a rather similar experience from that shop. This is a warning to all follow cyclists, avid cyclists, weekend warriors and professionals. I want to point out how deceiving and conniving this business is. Believe me they know how they are and they don't care about your business with them. That bike shop has been struggling over the last couple years. I'm surprise there still in business.
Last year I was shopping for a road bike. I made couple of calls to LBS in O.C. on a specific brand with specific components. I was literally doing my homework to get the best price for the bike.
Then I called them to get a price match/beat. They seemed to be friendly at first to get your business going. The price that they gave me was great and could not turned down.
However it turned into a nightmare after I had given them a small deposit for the order. Now they claim they did not have the bike in the store and needed to special order from the manufacture. Apparently, I discovered that they had it in stock all along. Then next day I got a call from them letting me know that the bike had arrived and was built and ready for pick-up.
Because of some unforeseen financial issues I decided to get my cash deposit back. . Note that it was not 24 hours just yet since I gave them a deposit the previous day. So I then proceeded to get my deposit back personally at the store. I showed them my "written" receipt and ask them if I can please get my deposit back. The "OWNER" of the store denied my request and would not give me back my deposit.
You chanted away on how unappreciated I was and that they had worked so "Hard" to get the bike for me. That did not matter and I demanded my full deposit back and I had every right to get it back. At this point the "Owner" denied himself as the owner/manager and could not help me. However, he chanted away again and could only give me back half of my deposit or talk to the "Service Manager" for your full refund. Unbelievable!
To make this story short. I did however, manage to get my money back after 3 weeks of conversation battles between them. It was not until I told them that I would contact the BBB, Ripped Off-Report.com, attorney, court fees, and all other legal matters. In order to get my deposit back. There not to be trusted at all or DO NOT DO business with them or your asking for it.
Irvine Cyclery if your reading this right now let me say that You cannot articulate a situation well from a bowel movement. It's probably why you cannot rationalize and use worthless grammar to describe your insecurity.
Your dangling participles and sentences that end with prepositions are signs of Dementia. Do us all a favor and close/shut down your business and pick up a better trade.

I am at my wits' end here.
Went over to Irvine Bicycles (formerly San Canyon Cyclery) to get my headshok for my Cannondale replaced. They had to order a new shock.
That was over 2 weeks ago. The shock has not arrived. Well, it is not their fault except...
I ask them to check with Cannondale to see the shipment status. 3 times. That has yet to happen. This day and age, you have ways to trace shipments.
"We are too busy. We will call as as soon as"
"They are on the East Coast, and it's too late to call now"
"We will make a phone call the first thing in the morning tomorrow" (Does not happen. Back to "we are too busy to call").
The Project Rwanda Ride is just 3 days away, and I am getting nervous, but yet there is no sense of urgency from the shop. Seen mostly positive reviews, so is this just an anomaly? The total lack of attentiveness is very unsettling.
