Does anyone know a reputable carpet cleaner?

I called a few companies and the company came out and all did the same. High ball us ($600) then drop it to $250 + free rooms + they thrown in this and that + they won't leave after we said no.

If you know someone who you've used, trusted, and is satisfied with please let me know. I'm in Corona.

Do it yourself for less. I cleaned three rooms for about $55(Rental fee, cleaner and antifoam solution).

How did it go? I use to have one of those steam cleaner vacuum and it really just wet the carpet and put a lot of soap into the padding and when it dried it was dirtier then before.

I have a friend that does carpet cleaning.
It's side work, has a full trailer with the equipment, and does a great job.
Just did my Apt 2 weeks ago, and looks great. Didthe whole apt, large FR, and 2 BR. $100, including spot removeer and de-odorizer.
I will Pm you his number, tell him Dan sent you.

It cleaned well, except for the tough stains. Some kind of sticky stuff didn't come off. And it was kind of wet afterward, but dried in a day after I just left the windows open. Just be prepared to spend at least a couple of hours. I went over some areas two or three times.

    Good luck.

I've used a company called A Clear Choice. The owner is an MTB'r.

Great work. I wish I had the number.

We finally found a great carpet cleaning co for San Diego:

    http://www.eco-dry.net/

With all others we've tried, the dirt spots return within a month. These guys got it right. I'm not sure they can go as far north as Costa Mesa, but if you're in SD, give 'em a shot.

All the quotes I've had are like $150 for two rooms and 2 bucks per stair. I have a lot of stairs.
