Road Ride Report Huge props to our own SD Yeti

    On Saturday morning I found myself in Oceanside with Skinny wheels and heading out for what was originally assumed to be a reasonably flat century... Steph, Dan The Manns, Luke and myself all set out on a route that Justin had planned and this was to be Steph's first century on the road. A long way down the road with challenges ranging from wrong pedal/Shoe combinations a couple stops at bike shops ect we managed to make lemonade out of Lemons and had an amazing day that turned out to be 110 mile and over 6500 ft of climbing... Yes you read that right we played in the hills, the heat and finally back along the coast... Huge day huge numbers and great friends made for a great Saturday...

    The funny thing is that as the day went on she continued to stronger Can you say I need 85 miles to warm up!!!

    She rocked it Century Cherry Popped in a really BIG way

    huge figure 8 that took us out over the 15 fwy a couple of times including the Rainbow Bridge, Lake Henshaw, Encinitas, San Marcos Palomar Airport road was our way back to the coast both times... We started and ended a park off the 76 and College I accidentally deleted the map of the route but hopefully Stephanie has it saved and will post it here

    You rode past me! I was surfing at South Ponto on Saturday, then later rode to Oceanside for the train back to LA. Glad everyone survived, and kudos to Steph.

    We did 101 last saturday, started from oceanside at the harbor and rode all the way to Torrey Pines. around 30 miles one way. the only way to beat the heat, is to ride along the coast.
