    I didn't go up Mathis - I went down. Oh, and I REALLY went down! :lol:

    It was I think my third time ever on a trail and the second time on my new (well, used but new for me) bike.

    MTBing definitely requires a different set of muscles than I'm used to, and I think it'll take me a while to get the hang of it, but so far it's been fun for me. Hoping to see some of you at some (newbie) group rides soon. :wave:

    You should come out and hit the Fullerton loop tomorrow am for the Pugz ride (or any Sun AM)- that's a decent length trail but not too technical and lots of us regular STR folk to help and heckle all those involved. Ride starts at 8am tomorrow (Sun) - I know this is a late post....if not, hit the loop on Thursday for the bigger ride. Usually 30 to 40 people on that one. Plus, we can get you a loaner light for the ride if you need one. It's a blast. That was my first ride with STR about 9 months ago and it's been great ever since.

    Hey i've only ridden two times, and the first was a crazy as hell crash. Looks like we're troopers if we can fall down, get back on AND enjoy it! Look for the redhead in fullerton sometime!
