I have now given blood 5 of the last 7 days. I keep getting hit by sharp dry chaparral encroaching on the trail. It seems the closer we get to rain the drier the chaparral becomes and it is now drooping branches along the edge of the trail. Normally we get the droop during growth spurts in the late winter. The trails are dry and have been sheding larger rocks onto the path and now we must contend with dried out limbs reaching out to scratch us. I hope the rain comes soon. The line keeps getting narrower by the day. Happy dry trails
