For those people who think I'm a little to reckless on the road bike, check out these kooks. You got to admit, it does look like an adrenelin rush. And these guys are motoring.

Yeah if you look at the very end as they're going over the bridge the guy has his feet on the downtube and his cranks are spinning like mad. There's another one with music "Welcome to the Jungle" seems to fit.

Cool video! I don't understand why there's not a bike messenger video game already. It would be awesome! They already kinda touched on it with GTA San Andreas. But, if you focused on the physics and set it in NYC, it would be so much fun.

Has there ever been a movie about bike messengers?

Some are, but you can see the others freewheeling when coasting between cars.

I'm not sure I'd try that anywhere around here; I didn't see any of those drivers putting on make-up or doing their hair (maybe it's just cause I'm in the OC).

I tried putting my feet up on my downtube once, bent my water bottle mount and stopped by tipping my bike over. The again, I'm really not all that balanced

If you haven't seen Quicksilver, you're soooooooooooo missing out. He can flip his wheel from fixed to free faster than anyone. Perhaps we should have movie night...what's the other bike movie? The one with the "cutters"?

Riding through the big bad city is scarier than any DH run I've been on, you spend the whole time worrying about car doors opening. I guess that's why those guys ride down the middle of the road.
