Does anyone know around what time they usually have the courses (DH & SD) marked? I'm assuming they do it on Fridays.

:clap:They have been getting the course marked earlier lately. I would say there is a good chance DH course being done by noon. Just a guess though.:-k

    Course report

Tmac and I got out there earlier (a bit after 10), to check out the DH course. figured I'd let you guys in on the course details.

it's a brand new course. drops down the very far side of the hill from the road (not the back side, but to the south of the first and second courses). lots of grass now, but it'll burn in quickly tomorrow.

basically, up top it's ALL fast, flowy, and a little tricky in spots. lots of fast, flat or off camber turns. a few chutes, and VERY minor rock sections. there are a few hairy turns here and there, and a couple fast G-outs that you need to be on top of.

the lower garden is funky. it's a further-right variation on the one in the second race, and flows about as well as a stopped up toilet. you can either take the run-around to the right, or roll over a big rock on the inside. the roller is narrow, and it'll be messy if you wad up there going fast (ask me how I know...). Happy Gilmore got a few lovely videos of that.

past that, it's all familiar fontana flatland.

If ANYONE is thinking of getting out and trying a DH race, but don't think their skills are up to snuff, or want an easier course to start on, this would be a great course to try out a race on. it's a bit faster and trickier than the first race, but doesn't have so many stupid loose sand turns. get out there and get some people :bang:

Does anyone have a E13 backplate bolt to mount to ISCG tabs? If so can you PLEASE bring it for me to buy? I got home to find I F'ed up my front derailuer cable somehow. So I stole the cranks and LG1 off the Aline but one the mounting bolts is stripped.

do you need the short or long bolt? I think I've got some of the long bolts floating around in my toolbox if that's the case

I think the short one's are 8mm long total, and the long are like 12mm :?:

The treaded part is about 1/2" so that should be 12mm. They have the tapered head so they are flat. IF you could bring one each that would be cool.
