As soon as I get xrays telling me my toe is no longer broke I will commit to this. Hell even if it's still broke I may still race. What do I need a big toe for anyway?

I´m just going to give up saying I´m coming, as it just seems to put a jinx on my plans. This time we got burried in snow (again). :(

I'm not ready to commit to racing -yet- since competing detracts from the "pure" experience of MTBing for me.
Saturday 'practice' runs though... hell yes, good times!

BTW... thanks, Sharky for posting-up photos of the course last week. I'd never ridden Fontana before, and the pics were helpful.

Art, some of us go ride there all the time on off race weekends and we can let you know next time. We go out and ride old courses and practice sections.

Hey hey hey, Bryan and Mark, Be nice, YES, i can lift my bike in the truck, ONCE! before i get tired and start losing strength in my Puny arms.
Hey, i dont care if i can lift my bike in the truck or not, i beat Bryan by a fair 2 seconds
Funny this is, in practice, he always seems to be faster than me :-k
man, i need to get at least a top 3, i felt so little standing in the 4th place spot, NEXT to the podium. 8-[

Also!! Dino brown better be here next race, i know Julia was vry disappointed that dino did not show up for her race, and i think i perform better when Dino is there, helping me pick my lines for a half hour, only for me to miss it

I need to build a new trail that has some fontana characteristics, for some real training.
basically, i should just ride down the hill randomly, incorporating off camber turns and stupid stuff in there, just like donny did for round 3! haha
all kidding aside, i eally need to start training. i keep saying that, but everytime i do, i get cuahg tup and never do.
Bryan, are you down for saturday or sunday?
Mayb we can make some wood stunts and stuff..
i know where we can find some of those premade perfect log thingies. some guy has it in this old beat down lot by my house, sometimes he is there, if we ask, he may let us have some since theyve been there forever.

Oh, and i asked my dad about driving up the fire road for trailwork, and he said since it is private property, they may tell you to leave, but if there are no signs posted to stay out or no tresspassing, we should be okay. my dad said if the cop or sherriff is in a bad mood, he may fine us, but my dad said he wouldnt know what he would fine us for.
i think it would be worth a shot, as long as we werent destructive or stupid.

    Sorry for the thread deraillment.
    I will be there!

and what a derailment it was!

I know it is frustrating when you keep beating me, seeing as I can lose you on your home trail and all sorts of practice runs. but whatever, it's something to work toward (like friggin podiuming in sport. I need 1 more place!)

and I'll prolly be down for some trail work or riding this weekend. hit me up...

back to the discussion at hand though:
does anyone have any suggestions for a good restaurant around southridge? our usuals are getting a little old

I'm glad you came with Chris and I. It's always fun riding and hanging with ya.

I didn't end up racing sunday and am regretting it now.. Already paid for the next one and I not backing out this time. ha ha
