Don't forget the cowbells!!! BTW, I need someone to ride behind me and pace me on the wall sprint (while yelling at me to pedal, of course). Any takers????

Follow the yellow/blue signs for Super D (as opposed to the white/red for XC).

    11:00 - 12:00 Super D Practice

    12:30 Super D Race

I'd be up for pacing you a few times. Do you want me to follow you down the whole run or just the wall?

Im going to be out shooting, sat and sunday.

Too poor to race, but I actually enjoy shooting, and then freeriding more. Look for me I will prob have my camo utopia hat on and way too much camera equipment on me

PS fontucky is DG i don think you ever really need a mud tire, maybe at the wall, but other wise the minon highroler combo is cool

Last minute thing here, but since I have no XC bike anymore, does anyone know what companies might be out there Saturday morning renting out demos for XC? :-k

I'm contemplating racing if I can find a bike, but i haven't ridden in more than a week and have kind of been enjoying my week of pure laziness.

I know this is kind of off the topic, but can I go and practice on sat. and NOT race on sun.?

I will pay whatever, but I would like to ride the course before I race and Im not sure I can make it out on sun.

So I've never ridden the Fontana XC course and was thinking about driving down from Santa Barbara this weekend. But the weather has me thinking twice.

How does the course hold up to the rain? Does it become nice firm hardpack? Or does it devolve into a sticky clay drivetrain-destroying muck (like most of our local trails)?

it's actually one of the better places to ride in the rain, though we've been very lucky come race morning last year and this year.

anyone know if the proghorn folks will be there renting out their new bikes for racers that need one?

    pre-ride

I know it's raining but i was wondering if anyone went out and pre-rode the course...

Wanted to see if they opened up the entire XC course or will it be the same as two weeks ago.

Also if they marked the Super D... (which route)

    Thanks in advance.
