Oh...Jon's the guy with the judge? He's a really cool guy, but he probably should move to expert. Normally I wouldn't care too much, but it's also the class I race in, and I know for a fact that he DEMOLISHED me at webb when I met him there.

I thought you had to petition to move to expert class..something about being able to show consistent race results to justify the move..:?:

but in his defense, his winning time was around the same time for people that won other sport classes. Heck, I know his time got beat by a guy that raced by himself in the age above ours (he's on here too but i forget his name). So you're probably giving me too much credit being 16 minutes behind 1st, I'm much slower than i need to be.

aaaaahhhh. i don't know why i thanked you for posting those. 42 seconds off 2nd after 1:45! #-o#-o#-o#-o

Gives me something to shoot for next race

a memebership which is like 40-45 bucks and that comes with free practice
trial memebership/practice is 15 bucks for the day

practice with a memebership is 7 bucks now, they have gotten stricter with the memeberships so you cant really practice without one anymore.

15 bucks (5 if you've got an ABA membership for some reason), long pants and sleeves. FF helmet a plus. oh, and a custom yeti DJ helps too ;)

if there's enough people on 26 inchers, they'll do an exhibition 4X race for free. it's good fun, and you get the fun of chasing people down.

edit: ricky beat me too it. ghey $7 charge makes me find singles in my wallet. and the membership SHOULD come with 3 free practices (mine did)

Race beginner or race expert if you want to avoid sandbaggers.
Even beginner class is not safe, but sport is the worst, in all ages, all disciplines, and not just at Fontana.
