Last night as I was cleaning and getting my bikes ready I filled up the air on my five spots front tire. The stem (the part that sticks out) was bent and wouldn't take air, so I bent it back and it inflated. Then after I took off the air nozzle the freekin stem broke. It doesn't appear to be the same type as a regular tube. Anybody have any ideas on how I can fix this?

If you're running the Stan's rimstrips you'll have no choice but to buy a new rim strip since the valve is part of the rim strip. I'm assuming you mean the large threaded part of the stem broke and not the actual presta valve core? If it is just the presta valve you can unscrew that from the valve stem and replace it, they are sold seperately from Stans. Otherwise you'll need to get a new rimstrip.

Better in the garage than on the trial. Sounds like you will be running a tube up front tomorrow.

Rob it is the internal part the stem on the inside, but I'm going to have to find a way to unscrew it as it broke off down inside it. I might be able to drill it out???

Worst scenerio is you have to buy a new rim strip. Saw some at Jenson for $22 each.

Shiat, I went to the NoTubes website to see if they had any info and ended up buying 4 of them for 2 bucks each, but got tagged on the shipping. But I did buy some other stuff too. Brake pads for Maguras are pretty cheap there (16.00) and I got the syringe for filling the tires. Also bought the core remover.
