fatguy1 = Master Detailer! Merged threads

A while back an STR member comes onto my radar because he and I are from the same 'hood. There aren't as many of us North OC'ers ripping up the trails, so we gotta stick together.

This dude, Stuart, is in the automotive detailing business. I'm really picky about letting other people touch my truck. It's five years old, but really nice. It took a while to get over my neurosis, but yesterday Stuart came over to whip some spiffy onto the truck.

The truck came out BEAUTIFUL. It's much better than I could have done myself. When anyone does a better job that I could do, then I'm happy.

The attached picture was taken before Stuart did the work. There's no way I would insult him by taking a newly detailed truck out into the dirt. It's going to stay on asphalt for a little while.

Stuart, just out of curiosity, do you detail engine compartments as well? Or just interior/exterior? I'm planning to sell a vehicle in a few months and would like to have it cleaned up first.

i have done work in SD a few times so maybe soon i will be that way.. i can do some work then go to the chargers game all in the same weekend

fatguy1 = Master Detailer!

It was finally time to get rid of my wife's old Honda Civic. Finding a buyer was easy, and because of who it was, (family friend) we decided to shine up the ride one last time before passing it on, just to stoke the new owner out.

STR's resident auto detailer, Stuart (fatguy1) showed up at my place on Wednesday morning and made this 12 year old car look brand new within a matter of hours. :clap:

Reasons to have Stuart take care of your car:
-He will come to your house or office
-Super nice, social guy
-He will hook you up with a GREAT price
-Guy obviously knows what he is doing - the car turned out great!
-Help out a fellow STR member by sending him some biz!

Serioulsy, what is the cost to get a car/truck detailed i may need some of that action.

Update 9pm: Great job. Im only now getting to see the Honda pics my damn work blocks everything now. Dont they know STR is my life, how dare them.

Soon as I get back from Mammoth I'm having FG1 do my truck.

 

I wouldn't mind having my Alfa done, but I'm afraid if anyone touches it the paint will instantly fall off.

...I also fear bumps in the road for this reason.
