I went to Hesperia with my family for Easter. My uncle has a few acres there and a bunch of the family got together. I brought my bike and we also had a souped up Honda 50. After riding around a bit we decided to build a jump.

2 x 12s and hay bails can be fun

My wife got creative with her camera. These pictures seem to make the jump look bigger than it is. Normally it is the other way around.

This is the view looking toward Baldy. There is still a lot of snow up there.

Cool pics! man, most of those look like you're overshooting and about to land on the flats. Hope that was an optical illusion.

    Landing

We were landing on the tranny for the most part. I did overshoot it once on the minibike. It didn't feel to good on the wrists. The run in is flat so I couldn't get going fast enough on the bike to overshoot the landing. I was pedaling as hard as I could. It was more fun on the bike then it was on the 50 (a lot more work though). It kept us entertained for at least 20 minutes.
