Total cost 22 bucks, and it works. Things to check: 1) Check the water supply. Is it on? Is the line kinked? Is the water filter blocked? Is the fill tube frozen over. This is the easy part. A hair dryer and a few basic tools will allow you to address most of these. After you rule out this stuff, onto the next steps. 2) Check the ice tray. This part requires making a jumper wire and handling live 120 volt current. DO NOT ATTEMPT IF YOURE A DUMB ASS. Ice makers are pretty standard across a side range of fridges. those icemakers are shite. There is a section inside the motor module that allows the tray to heat enough to dump the ice. It often shorts and the ice wont drop.. The very bottom of this image, in the middle. It was an easy fix with a piece of copper and a solder iron.
