Dog Friendly Trails (in LA/Ventura Area)

Hi all,
I'll be passing through LA tomorrow afternoon (from Lake Arrowhead to Santa Barbara) and looking to get a 10 mile ride in with my doggie.
Anyone have any suggestions?

Westridge trail up to the Nike Tower is about 4 miles one way. Its dog friendly. Be aware, its full of unleashed dogs on the weekend. Its a fire road with intermittent single track running parallel to it. You can take the dog all the way to Farmers, that makes about 12 miles round trip. If its hot tomorrow though, I advise it to keep it well under 10 miles. Have fun!
