I hate rebates sometimes. These company are quick to take your money but it takes 6 months for them to rebate you, if you get your rebate. If you do the rebate you have to send in a blood sample and 4 UPC code bars and make sure you photocopy everything in triplicate.

In this case, there was nothing to send in. It was a gift card that was supposed to be sent out to the buyers within 8 weeks. I bought a Dell XPS laptop and upgraded to 4 years warranty.

Dell's come complete with factory installed adware. Everything a computer enthusiast could ever want.

This is my response to that statement.

SONY???? Sorry but I have to give Sony computers a big giant YUCK.

Typically Dell is about as good as it gets with customer service. We spend about 100K a year on Dell PC's here at the office. Something goes wrong, new machine is delivered the next day.

This cupon thing sounds like it sucks for those involved, but I guarantee it's not the norm with Dell. I'm forced to use PC's for a lot of the work I do and Alienware and Dell are both A+ vendors. (dell owns Alienware fwiw) with only a few select companies being better in service and support such as Boxxtech. Once again, I'm a Mac guy for 90% of my work, but am forced to use PC's for a lot of the 3D stuff I do.

Jeez I'm such a nerd sometimes....

Computers are computers really, it comes down to service and support.
