Any y'all biatches use and/or are familiar with the Cycleops line of stationary bikes?

My riding time has gone WAY down and as lame is it probably is, I want something at the house to keep me in shape.

I was thinking about maybe getting a stationary type of bike cause I know i wont use a rolling trainer thingie.

There are 3 models, none of which are cheap, and am trying to sort out if this is just a dumb idea.....anybody familiar with em, your input would be greatly appreciated. This is what the middle model looks like.

Sh*t, if it gets you riding or improves your riding, then it can't be that lame, eh?

That's the gnarliest looking stationary I've ever seen. It looks like you'll fly if you start pedalling fast enough!

I know I'm a big dork (hence the name), but wasn't that thing in Return of the Jedi?

ha ha....yeah, it looks pretty futuristic i agree. i hear good things about it though, but it aint cheap. my bike club/team is affiliated with a shop so i can probably get 20% off which would ease the pain a bit.

How much is it? Why not just a regular trainer and use an old hardtail?

cause that would be way too logical :)

actually, i dont have a bike sitting around and if there is nothing dedicated i just wont use it. However, maybe you are on to something!!! I can justify buying a new bike now.....I can get a used hardtail and a trainer for about the same price! (low end is about $1100 before discount).

hmmmm........
