Ride Report Condor Peak Trail, San Gabriel Mts.

Condor peak is a killer trail but the correct route is to continue on down the fire road at the top and ride down Trail Canyon wich is a fun semi tech rustic trial that criss crosses a stream. Have no idea what its like now though after the fire.It was a real woodsy trail that followed a stream so there is probably all kinds of fallen trees and washouts now. Would be nice to have a peek if they ever open it up. Hiking in from the Trail Canyon parking area is still off limits,cant even hike to the waterfall. Looking at the pics brought back some great memories as Condor Peak is a killer climb. I would always say to myself that it's not so bad then when you hit the last 3rd the dirt gets soft and the climb gets steeper. A killer ride indeed!
