Chinese New year

I'll be be out at Chinatown in Downtown L.A. to sightsee and check out the Golden Dragon Parade with my GF. I've gone to this in the past and it's a good time to check out something different and very cultural. it's also a good activity to do with the GF, Wife and/or kids.

The parade starts at 2 pm, but the festivities start at 10 am

For those in OC, i'd recommend getting into LA via Amtrak it's easier and cheaper. (parking fees, gas, and traffic hassles can add up)

I'll be going into LA via public transportation myself.
