Cancelled: SART on 12/17 or 12/18?

(Me and my friends are no longer riding here this weekend. Instead, we are riding Josephine Saddle/Strawberry Peak. I apologize for the cancellation and hope this does not cause much inconvenience.)

Anybody interested in doing SART this coming weekend?

(Yes, I know a SART ride just happened the past weekend.)

umm i was gonna do marshall canyon both those days, but if the santa ana winds die down i would be in for a SART ride..from where to where?

Yikes.

I just checked the conditions for this coming weekend, and here's what it looks like at Angelus Oaks:

Saturday
High/Low = 45/28F
Wind SSW 5mph
10% precipitation, mostly cloudy

Sunday
High/Low = 46/27F
Wind NE 5mph
0% precipitation, mostly sunny

It doesn't look like Santa Ana winds are going to be an issue, but the temperatures seem pretty cold, especially morning and around dusk. Maybe high 30's?

I'm sure it's possible, but I'm suspecting that this is going to be too cold for an enjoyable 28-miler. Any input, y'all?

oh and just so you know...i live in rialto, which is like 30 minute drive from the SART....it said winds today were 8mph or so...but let me tell you it seemed quite a bit gustier than 8, but then again, i live right by where the newscasters always go off the 15 at sierra..,,they are always at that gas station saying how windy it is
