    I live in Ventura county. I bought a bike and rode for the first time in Friday. It was super hard. I had to stop a lot. I want to get good and strong but have no one to ride with. I don't mind going alone once I learn how to do this. Any beginner groups would be great!

    Welcome! Nice to see a fellow female rider, however I live in Riverside County so very low chance we'll ride together.

    Check out Girls Gone Riding. There's many chapters, one in LA for sure. That would be your best bet in finding beginning group rides w same sex riders.

    BTW: I have one son and three daughters I love. :)
