I got out later than usual on Saturday morning for Bommer Canyon open access day ride. Started about 11 AM which worked out well as it was not super crowded.
Started at Quail and rode up the wall (if you know, you know) and then over to Cattle Crest. I was only 2 seconds off my PR down Cattle Crest 1st DH, which was surprising considering there are many ruts to navigate right now. Then up Rabbit Run and down again. Only one person coming up and she was out of the way, so pretty clean run.
Up Fox Run and down. It still annoys me how much they neutered that trail by adding the switchbacks in the middle. It has some good flow otherwise, but I don't ride it much anymore. I continued to Shady Oaks S/T which is fun except for the beginning climbs.
After that, over to Ridge Route and down and then back to Quail.

Not too many places in the country that are this green in December ....
