When I started this bike build project this is exactly what I had envisioned.

Project Night Rider a SS full rigid in black. Quiet , light , and reliable were the goals. I will provide all the fun/blood/sweat.

One trip to the hardware store and this is the best tensioner yet. Simple to flop from push to pull. No springs to bounce or wear out. A silent rubber roller on sealed bearings. What more could you ask for.

So refreshingly simple. Not enough for me to give up my 575, but still sweet to look at :)

that ss is pretty sweet. Where did you get the frame?

SuperG0 for $120. Not the frame of dreams. But it gets it done.

Thanks for the compliments , everybody.

Man, i went up to Big Bear and used the lifts to ride some technical singletrack, one of my buddies was on a Supergo Access, don't underestimate that frame, it hauls a$$.

that's a great looking bike, BTW what does it weigh in at?

the simplicity of a SS looks awesome, makes me want to go that route for certain training rides. so i usually just stay in one gear on my geared bike to simulate a SS, but i like to have the gears just in case. :D

sweet bike!! I've been sitting on a n old Chromo Performance bike that I'm going to start working on tonight. You're an inspiration. Where'd you get that DMR chain tensioner? That looks like something I'd go for too.
