My wife is Vietnamese. We have yet to go to Vietnam as a family though. Someday we will, when the kids get a little older. I wouldn't mind biking through the coutryside of Vietnam, provided I don't run over an old land mine or something.

That sounds like a great trip. I think if you search mtbr.com I've read of guys doing a mtb'ing trip in Vietnam.

One of these years I'm planning on going back too.
