Has anyone ridden one of these bad boys? Im looking at one at coats cyclery for $800 bucks. It has carbon forks and seat post and aluminum frame. Just wondering if anyone had any thoughts on this ride.
http://www.bianchiusa.com/07_c2c_nirone_105_tr.html that one is $800 ?? I have been eyeing a Bianchi at The Path for a while but its $1500. wait i see http://www.bianchiusa.com/07_c2c_nirone_sora.html this one is $800. not sure how quality those SORA components are though?
most likely this one http://www.bianchiusa.com/07_c2c_nirone_sora.html frameset is all the same just different component groups.. sora should be good enough to get going and you can always upgrade stuff as you go.. i believe Trizz has one with the ultegra group on it.. he rips on it..... until Carl cruises by him on his speshy
Trizz's bike is pretty nice. Hey Foo - don't you have an older Look and some SS road bike too? Come out next time!
Have you taken a look at the Bianchi cross bikes? http://www.bianchiusa.com/08_axis.html I think there's an 07 on closeout from Jenson for like $895? Throw some road tires on there and you can join your local group ride. Or leave the knobbies on there and hit some dirt. I picked up a cross bike 2 weeks ago (not a Bianchi) and I'm digging the versatility.
foo told me he was going to buy that BMC ProMachine he saw in the shop the other day!:lol: http://www.bmc-racing.com/en/us/bikes/road-series/pro-machine/slc01-team-red/story/
Yep, Trizz has a nice bike, especially the white bar tape. Always beware of the guys with bright white bar tape i.e Eddie Merckx. Unless of course you see pink bar tape... Maybe Foo will come out if we ride the '84 Olympic Road course in Mission Viejo one day?
geez, everyone is getting a road bike now... Guess I'll get one too!!! I'll start practicing to shave my legs.
niiiiiiiiiiiice the new kestrels are pretty dope too! I like dis one! http://www.kestrelbicycles.com/bikes/rt700.php
not drunked? No guarantees my friend... Yeah I was looking at either that BMC Street Fire or Bianchi Via Nirone with ultegra components. The main goal is to get over the fear of being hit by a car!
The Bianchi's are sweet, and that bike your talking about should have the K-Vid technology, which helps smoothen out the ride.
