Bent my rear d pretty bad on a fall and can't quite get it to bend back perfectly. Who sells replacement cages?

Thanks,

Are you sure its the cage itself and not the derailleur hanger? I'm not sure if anyone sells just the cage alone, may have to buy a new derailleur.

Not positive on the terminology of it. It's probably the hanger. The plastic piece which holds the jockey wheels . . .

Well derailleur hangers are bike specific, you probably can't use one from a different bike. The hanger itself is the piece that bolts onto the frame that has the hole that the derailleur mounts to. Usually when you crash you'll bend that hanger, so if the cage looks bent that may be why. You'll need to determine if it is the hanger or the derailleur itself, you would have had to hit the cage really hard to bend that before you just bent the hanger.

P.S. we want details on your crash!!

LBmtb, if you want it you can have one of mine.

It'll be hard to part with it :( , I was planning to use it on my other bike project, but I think I'll make that an SS anyways. :D

It's an almost - new XT.

Bent my derailer on my bike a couple weeks back. Was able to straighten it enough to ride, but wasn't perfect. Greg sent me a link to http://derailleurhanger.com/ They were great! I emailed them a picture of my derailer and they got it to me within a week. The LBS said it would take at least three.

Had to give the sight a little  for the great job.
