Not very many members are left standing. Most (a certain group of mtb hooligans) have either deserted or defected to another site. If you can stand the other site and their corny psuedo postings you should check it out. LOL. Welcome back btw.

Hahhaha...that site is losing folks. There are less than 10 regulars posting there. Several have left and many have told me they have zero interest in their group rides. Our FB groups is where it's at! More friendly, better camaraderie but most importantly no egos with an everyone is welcome to ride with us social environment.

Otherwise it is just trailninja talking to himself.

Most have moved on....this site just is not relevant anymore. It was abused and neglected for way too long. No matter what you do, it left a bad taste in everyone's mouth. Kinda like Ellsworth.

trailninja: Mikie would never disparage another mountain biking site the way you have his in this thread. So it makes complete karmic sense that this place is a graveyard and IMTBT is alive and well. When you get tired of the cobwebbed echo chamber, come on over and talk about bikes and riding instead of dead web sites.
 
LOL..., still love this place. This site was at a time and hopefully still will be my go to place for local information. I don't really go to very many sites, some needed some kind of show of devotion that I personally do not have anymore time to give. Plus I was not in some sort of in crowd, just love to ride. I learned a lot from people here, though I mainly trolled before I even made a sign on name. I was happily surprised that it took my name a pass code...

No thanks I like to talk to myself just ask J! I'm here to stay. Haha. Feel free to continue promoting the competition! Why do you call this site dead? All the annoying people left. Haha. J/K. Well some of them. I'm only here because a buddy introduced me to the site a few years back. My first impression when I first joined was that there were some really arrogant mofo's trolling the site. Now that they are gone I have no complaints! Carry on...

It's noble that you've taken it upon yourself to continue emitting the same toxic fumes from this corpse that helped lead it to death to begin with. Carry on indeed : )

No promotion of another web site, just pointing out that the admin of the one you chose to slag has respect for all the digital players – including you – and that respect in clearly non-reciprocal.
 
This place was always an OC orientated site, now most of the OC folks have moved on. But riding is not a popularity thing. I mostly write about my rides, solo, at night so I never got too much traffic on my posts. This is where I still am, right now I am recovering from a crash that damaged my right arm. It is pretty much better but yesterday the Doc saw it and said I should be more careful and carry a cellphone. It is not a bad time to be on the lamb since the trails have been getting a lot of rain and I do not like scaring the trails with my tires. That and I do not like cleaning mud and grit off my bike after a mucky ride

I was banned. I was banned for calling Ed pretentious and an asshole for misleading people when he posts a ride. He thinks it's funny when he posts rides that turn out to be too much for people he invites because he doesn't give them advance fair warning about the ride. If you check his Strava, there's been a few people he's invited who have lashed out at him. A lot of members know Ed is known for this but many will not say it. I'm a humble, very easy-going go-lucky guy but at the same time, I'm a straight shooter, no-bullshit kinda of guy so I call'em like I see them.

Calling him pretentious and an asshole is mild compared to what other's have said but Ed is Mikie's side chick so Mikie swooped in like Capt Save-A-Hoe and banned me. More specifically, despite apologizing to Mikie for doing it on his board, he wanted me to apologize to Ed but I told him to fvck off in a much more polite manner because Mikie and I go back way back.

If you haven't noticed, many members who were once regulars have left because of Mikie's ego and attitude. He let the board go to his head. Perhaps that's why he doesn't post much anymore. "Work hard in silence, let success make the noise." Mike was once a very humble guy.

It's interesting that many of those who have left, ride with me on the regular. I'm not one to hold a grudge so if Mikie wanted to break bread so-to-speak, I'd be the first one to extend my hand. Ed, on the other hand, he can die in a fire and it's better that we don't cross paths...ever.
