my new bike is being built up at the path, albeit very slowly. i dropped it off last week letting them know i need a 10mm axle... they didn't look for one and even start the build up until yesterday. So they have to order a hadley axle and its supposed to be in around 3 days. i also need some big ass spacer for my hope caliper, so no bike for me.

basically, i'm going nuts not being able to ride and i'm going to ask a favor to my fellow STR homies to see if i can borrow a bike for a few days. OC members would be greatly prefferred..

Maybe it's because I bought my bike through them, but if you ask, maybe the Path'll give you a loaner until your bike is done. They've offered it to me before, but I never took it, because I've never left it there for more than a week.

hey dood!! i got the old Jamis but its a 19" and u need to pay some dood to install the rear derailler and new chain!!:bang:

thanks for the replies bubbs! i can't believe i didn't think of this earlier, but i'm going to just drop off my back up rear wheel that is a standard QR hub. that should fix the rear wheel problem... now to find out wtf to do with the front brake

Jinks is right ask the Path they will give you loaner parts to get you going.

If things are not worked out by Saturday, and you want to ride Chilao with us, I am riding my Niner so that leaves my 5-Spot free.
