So far we are talking about moving the ride further up the road and ride Burkhart Trail. Exact route still being discussed, my suggestion was Buckhorn Station to Burkhart Saddle but that may not be enough miles...so we may through a Chilao Loop in the mix.ShinKen said:I think we're riding Chileo on Sunday. Dean can u share the 411?8-[
That description is of the 3 Peaks Loop or the Figure 8 Loop. You can do any section of the main three rides discribed there to make it a easier ride. We mostly don't do Mooney or Vetter because Hilyer is singletrack and so much fun...we just loop it 2-3 times. Much of Vetter is fireroad and all of Mooney is fireroad.Jordansrealm said:Just found this last night some good coverage and pics of Chilao area.

Ride will probibly be finialized when we get there. I am not Singlespeeding it. The climb out of Cooper Creek back to Buckhorn Station is moderately tech and steep. Last time I walked 3/4 of it on the Singlespeed (maybe a 2 mile walk). The rest of the ride was SS friendly. Remember this ride is 7-8000 ft elevation.ShinKen said:ohh Dean them pixs look effen sweet!! I'm soooo IN on this ride!!:bang: so how many miles are we talking about again? Should I bring the 29er?=P~
count me in.....i'm stoked! I'll definitely need some directions though...

Eh Dean, Are you guys doing Burkhart Trail & Chilao or just one? What's the Burkhart trail like, mileage? I figure it involves lots of climbing but is there reward at the end?
Will there be any first aid kits along the way for me to patch up my bumps and bruises?
What level of ride is this????
