Im having my bike finally overhauld at La habra cycle... any good or bad stories from them????

I sometimes go to Jim for mechanical advice. They offer fair prices, but sometimes have to order obscure items.

Been friends for MANY years...

Capable. Honest. Good people.

Brian, Jim and (mechanic) Sean are all bike guys
They have all raced. Sean continues to race
All three will destroy 80% of us in a bike challenge
All three ride both mountain AND road bikes

They sell Giant, Intense, Pivot, etc....

Really like this shop.

A little bit further from the freeways but the service is honest and straightforward.

They are more laid back and not as aggressive as other shops which is really great.

I've had nothing but perfect service from them over the years. It's nice when they are cool enough to drag you back to the works area rather than being all stuffy about entering the "work shop".

good guys, 'nuff said.
i would definitely make this my LBS if it weren't so far from me.
gave me a smokin' deal on my Trance way back when, and also give me some hooks ups on apparel when I need it.
you won't be sorry for using them!

Gosh I really feel like a lone wolf here but I'm not all that happy with them. Prices and customer service are fair to average but I once took my bike in for a tune up and one wheel was not trued and I still had brake rub which I made a point of mentioning when I dropped it off. Based on that one experience I'd definitely say they were below average. :?:

I've been to incycle (san dimas) and they were very helpful. Haven't used them for mx stuff but they were busy working on a lot of bikes when I saw them.

Go to La Habra quite frequently and consider them to be my LBS, Jim is a super good guy and always seems to have time to talk and answer questions or just BS w/ me. The Owner is Brian, I prefer to deal w/ Jim. I have had my bike in there quite a few times and have typically been very happy w/ their work, though like Pup-N-Taco mentioned, a few times they have overlooked some things that I have spec'd. for them to fix. Overall I would give their mechanics a B+ or A-

They earned a big THANK YOU last week ---

I was doing a quick Fully Loop last Friday afternoon and as I rounded the trail at the fire station my F.D. cable snapped. Hmmm, I REALLY wanted to do the STR Black Star-to-Beeks ride the next morning, now what?

I called La Habra Cyclery, Brian answered and said if I could get there before 3:30 he'd have it done before closing. I got there about 4 and they replaced the cable WHILE I WAITED:bang::bang::bang:

Thanks guys! Excellent service and I made the ride the next morning.

They sell Intense?? I've only noticed giant , Spec and Redline. Though they are really decent bike shop and answered ALL my questions . Never had a problem w/ parts or service.

Dude I swear by them if you are not satisfied I will pay your bill....no joke these dudes are way cool ,honest and put up with all my dumb questions. Jim,brian, paul ,sean all cool you can't go wrong tell them you know stuart.....

I have been going there for a couple of years now. They're my LBS and I've always had great customer service from them.
