RR: Annadel State Park

Spent my weekend up in oakland and on saturday I drove over to Annadel park on Dean's recommendation. A local, Mike, was cool enough to show me around. This place is pretty sweet. TONS of fun/rocky/rooted/twisty singletrack. Temps were around 70 degrees. Didn't feel like much climbing in terms of elevation change but the terrain made the climbs almost as fun as the downhills. Mark and I ran into another guy, Gary, who we also rode with. Ride time was a little over two hours. Didn't do all the trails (mark had to be somewhere) but rode some pretty fun ones.

Thanks dean for the recommendation.

Check out the album. A few of those . . .

Glad you enjoyed it. From your pictures it does not look like you went through the Redwood Grove. Some day you will be able to hook that ride up to Jack London State Park then over Sonoma Mountain..down into Petaluma. Will be an major epic. I do sometimes miss Nor-Cal...alot.

One guy I rode with pointed out Jack London and that does seem like a pretty good all day ride to do Annadel and Jack London. Hmm . . .
