Awesome photos and riding Ryan! Thought I wouldn't miss WBP this year but the photos brings back good memories. Love that place, the vibe is so good and Ed, thanks for posting those FB photos. The bear in the village is priceless! I would have loved to see that in person.

Those FB pics were great.. Top of The World pics and the bear in the village was so cool.. we so saw so many bears this trip.. it was awesome. There was this one bear under the chairlift every single day in the same exact spot eating grass right in the middle of the slopestyle course they are building for Crankworx.. it was so cool

Yes except for the big step ups.. also there are a couple of new mandatory drops.. one at the entry and another a bit further down.. it's in great shape, very smooth, it just requires you hit it hard speed wise to cover it all.. definitely more speed than I am 100% comfortable with :) the step ups seem a bit bigger.. first time down I hesitated to check out one of the drops and then couldn't even carry enough speed up the step up on the other side and had to dismount and run up the last few feet with the bike.. it was hilarious. To me it has definitely separated itself a bit more above A Line.. couple of runs down DM and A Line looks like Crank It Up :)

Seeing the bear going after those berries was very cool. So hard to believe in my past two trips I only saw one bear. But on this one I saw a bear everyday.

Probably a stupid question, but what do you do when you encounter a bear like that?

I got a coffee and took an early morning walk through the village. I heard something in the bushes and it turned out to be a bear. This guy was just interested in the berries in the tree and hardly payed me any attention even after we made eye contact. Not sure what bear contact protocol is but my first instinct was to look around for mama because he seemed pretty small to be by himself. Once I realized the bear was solo i broke out my phone and started taking pictures.

They look cute.. but clearly can do some damage.. yeah too funny.. like Ed said, usually see one maybe but this past trip it was daily.. very cool seeing them (from a safe distance).. and +1 on look for mamma bear if they're small.. you get between a mom and her cub and it's gonna get ugly fast! :-(

Jeff we need to for sure.. how did that arm heal after the Fontana crash? That 7th pic is the first double on Dwayne Johnson.. it's pretty big.. you can't even see the landing.. it's well to the right of the frame.. he's clearing probably 35 ft from lip to landing at a very high rate of speed and he's pretty high in the air.. I loved watching him do it but wanted no part of it
    :)
