A death on Cannell

I just heard from a freind of mine that a guy died on Cannell. I wrote up what I know on MTBR in the SoCal forum.

I replied on MTBR too. Its truely a sad story and unfortunately a great lesson about proper riding and being prepared for anything. Hopefully his story will encourage others to think first. I wish the best for his family.

i had to pull some guy out of one of the inside turns on san juan...you know the ones just as it gets loose. it was his first time riding the trail, on his rigid huffy with a kickstand. he was bleeding from his face smashed helmet. story was his buddy took him out there and never looked back.
