27.2mm Dropper Seat Post Options (no remote)

    H!

    I am thinking about upgrading my rigid 29er with dropper seat for more trail options but why there aren't many choices or options for 27.2mm?

    Thompson just came out with 27.2mm but they run around $500 including tax...

    any comments on brand/model experience for dropper seat post? I am looking for 'no remote'.

    X-Fusion Hilo and KS E Ten are two other affordable options.
