Un...real... I am soooo stoked for Gwinny, John Tomac, and Rich Houseman. I guess I also begrudgingly admire the Trek race program. I imagine (G)winning 3 of 4 World Cups might help sell some Treks. We all know he could have done this on a number of bikes - but what timing! Think Yeti sales might have paid for his salary had Conroy found the money to keep him? Coulda, shoulda, woulda....

    Go Gwin Go!

This is so great to see! Shitty said it - perfect for 4th of July weekend. Now I want to see an American win on American soil next week.

Yes, look at the tiiiiiime! Gwin is making me proud. FYI: They broadcast live via iPhone! Look for FreecasterMTB on Twitter next race. The link will be there. Not sure why it wasn't on the main site. Also features live timing so you can see the leader board in real time. This World Cup is insane. Watch it!

Also, the fact that this thread is only two pages long at this point is an indicator of why America is so weak in downhill (in general). How could there not be more attention paid to not only the most exciting and visually stunning MTB discipline, but to what is perhaps the best season in almost a decade? It's shameful.

Trying to watch the replay, but it won't load on my computer - plays 5 seconds, loads, plays five seconds - after half an hour I had 2 mins. of coverage loaded. I am using safari on a Mac Book Pro - HELP!

Are you trying to watch it or preload it so you can fast forward? I have found you cant preload freecasters replays.
Past that no issues on two PCs one vista one 7 and both using firefox.

Its really nice to finally see an American on the podium and a local at that. Actually a Gee fan from when brownie used to shoot the "project" . Danny Hart rides so pinned but i can't root for the pube stash.

Tuff luck for Sam Hill and Gee Atherton. Would have loved to see them them able to run.

Danny Hart, Josh Bryceland and Troy Bronson are the future. It was cool to see the young em's make the top 6 spots. I can only imagine how confident they feel now.

3 out of 4 wins for Aaron is simply amazing, he is a true competitor. Next weeks race should be a battle between Gwin and Minnaar since Greg now has so much pressure to get points. A (g)win for Gwin would put him in the drivers seat for the overall.

I hear ya, what is funny is that there is a thread for The Tour The France here on STR that has more pages than this UCI DH thread on a freakin mountain bike web site. Tour The freakin France?, gimme a break!

That is because I can watch it on TV.......not limited to watching on the web.......loading 5 seconds at a time.....stop.......load 5 seconds.....stop.......load 5 seconds......and only have 2 minutes of video after 1/2 hour.

I love watching downhill but never know if/when its on T.V. for those with Cox in So County. Its been played on channel 805. gotta find it under cycling on the guide. If it was publicized, maybe more would watch.

we're getting off topic. I think the real point is that Aaron Gwin is freakin rad.

I wanna see him destroy Windham and get the home soil race. I bet the atmosphere there is going to be insane...

Winham is going to be great. Minnaar is going to be a madman trying to get the top spot and get points.

Keep your eyes on Danny Hart, Josh Bryceland Cam Cole and Troy Bronson. These new school kids have nothing to lose and tons of confidence.
