I heard there really isn't any pre-riding the course for the next race.

Yeah Coates Cyclery lent her to me. Raised the seatpost and called it good. Looks like you're from Corona, good riding out there?

I live next to Chino Hills State Park and work next to Southridge but I really never ride the mtbs, I just race them. I do 95% of my riding and training on the road.

I can relate to that Heith. It's fun to go anothers' playground and dice it up. That's why I did it. And will probably borrow it again...... In 12 months! You raced that thing well. Good job.

Tinker averages 27 min for 5 laps. I averaged 36.7 for 2 laps. I think his first two laps were in the 22-23 minute range. So if we started at the same time, he would have lapped me once, and passed me again at the beginning of the second lap? Is that right? Damn!

Please explain how their are at least five SS dudes who finished before me?! Granted, I'm new to this, but is that possible?

Not to be a butthead....but the majority of the "race time" values don't correct for the staggered start times....might want to check your spreadsheet...shouldn't make a difference within the same class...but it makes comparing finishes in different classes nigh impossible.... (see sport category for typical, and some of the beginners don't add up....start time of 10:21 for Beginner Men 27-34 and a finish time of 11:32:50 gives a race time of 1:11:50, not 1:07:50.)

I can't say if this affects any of the results since I forfeited that right by leaving early...not that it made any difference to me, but it might take some explaining to some people who are comparing times in different classes, like should they have raced clyde instead of age group, entered their SS in a normal class, or something similar.
