    XC counts towards only Pro XTC and Kenda cup, there is no XC in Socal series it's just DH and 4x.

    Well they really did not think out start times! Sport DH one hour after XC CAT2 start time! I would have to clear XC in under an hour then run up hill for DH race!

    Well, if you do 3 laps, just peel off the course on your 3rd lap, get your DH run in, and then find a way to the xc finish. Really though, that is poor planning on their part.

    Kim, when Essence Barton used to compete in both, they let her do her DH run last. Contact Donny and see if he will do this for you!!!

    Super D update

    I sent this question to Donny regarding the Super D:

    Since the Super D is part of both the Team Big Bear SO CAL State Cross-country & Super D Series and the SRC California Golden State Series, is a USAC license required? If not, is Team Big Bear going to allow SRC members to register without a license?

    Here is his answer:

    If you race in Cat 1 you well need a license, if you race in Cat 2 or 3 no license needed and no added charge.

    4x Class question

    Last year the 4x classes were broke down by age and skill level.I dont see that on this years sign in flyer .
    Will the classes in 4x be broke down by age and skill level?

    PRO MEN
    PRO WOMEN
    EXPERT MEN
    SPORT MEN
    BEGINNER MEN 18 & UNDER
    BEGINNER MEN
    OPEN WOMEN

    Okay STR folks, it's time to start planning for the 1st round of the California Golden State Series!!! Who else is going and what are you racing??? For those of you DH, 4x and SD racers, remember this is a 4 race series and counts towards the overall SRC award at the end of the year!!!

    I'll be there, hopefully doing both 4X & DH.....gotta see how the $$$ flow is though, what with no work for about 7 weeks now.....but I'll be there!
