    hey tracy,
they have done two different wrist bands for the last two years, it's really just the honor system... plus they will be running two courses with course marshalls out there watching, so one will be closed at all times.... then can also check by your number plate (which you must practice with)..... I saw some sport guy last year get DQ'ed for pouching the expert course....

and for all the people that don't think it's worth coming out for 2 hours Friday, it is...... I come out early get the reg thing done, watch some pros to get my self all pumped up and before you know it, it's practice time...

that's probly the course for this weekend, not the national.... but who know's

    Hey thats a good idea!!!

IF you ever make a team you should pay for your riders entry fees. And find a cool name, maybe something about the kind of bikes we ride. I think I have 24... no 26in tires...

I feel like we are getting slightly off topic. Sorry everyone...

    SRC questions answered

Here are the answers from Don Jackson:

    Q. Does one have to buy the 3 day shuttle pass, or can they pay by the day? Some people may not be coming out for all 3 days.

    A. No, you can buy one day or two day if you want.

    Q. Do you have to race all 4 races to qualify for the Rock Shox Golden State Downhill title/jersey or is it best 3 of 4?

    A. We are counting all events but you could still do just two or three and still win the jersey.

In regards to the XC course it's a permanent 6 ft. chain link one. The kind that will keep everyone from the back park of the course. (Forever.) Damn!

ooo it's gonna be a split course? awesome, that means it'll be good for the experts. also, the cal state and the national race are the same race right?

There is no DH/4X National. The Cal State race just happens to be the same week as the XC/SD National.

All the Calstate DH stuff happens after the Nationals DH stuff. Once the National stuff ends, I think there's open practice for 1-2 hours before the race run. Suckie that we only get 1 run for this race due to time constraints. I don't plan on getting out of there till near sundown.... get there early cuz parking is gonna SUCK.

If it makes it clearer, I'm only racing the Calstate

    Meh...:?:
That's how it's been done in the past. Doesn't really make sense that they're gonna use the race results of 1 race run for 2 seperate events.:-k

I'll show up on sunday and if they say I can't race beginner because they held the sport/beginner race on sat, I'll just go buy a sixpac and heckle my little heart out.

Here's the linky to the National's Sched http://www.southridgeusa.com/fontanacitynational.php

The Cal State race is the only race they have for DH and 4x. There is NO national for DH or 4x thats why no license is needed.. I get thats how it was in the past but there was a National race in the past but there is not one this year for Gravity racers. Just another FYI all 4 results count to this years Cal State overall.

    Maybe this will help

    SERIOUS! That's RAD! :bang:

Hey dhMike... guess we're gonna have to settle the DFL contest AFTER the Calstate series.

edit: oh wait, just for the calstate, got excited there and thought it would count for toward the SRC totals from the winter series

I noticed that the XC on Saturday starts at 1100, can we pre-ride the course earlier that morning?
