Does that mean you're going to try the upgrade again?

Krista Park put a humorous message on Allison's facebook page to the effect that she would give her endorsement for Allison's upgrade to pro.

Luke and Allison both think that her winning by 10 minutes at every race is a waste of fitness. Luke's comment was something to the effect of "how many years do you think you will have this fitness level". I don't have an answer to that, but it is truly only her first year training... (previously when we thought we were training we were goofing around compared to what we do now)

If she wants to go pro then I support her 100%. I think she could potentially be top 15 in the nation in Pro, maybe top 10. The Stars and Stripes jersey in Cat 1 would be a walk in the park for her.

BTW.. Captain Underpants (only they were bibshorts) made an appearance at Bonelli... #-o;)

Justin-- Allison, Heidi and I talked after the race, Allison seems more than ready for the pro level--check with Scott, too. He seems very pro-active in preventing sandbagging. Stands to reason, if Allison came in on her 2 laps with the pros (ahead of half of them), she SHOULD be upgraded! Let her do it!

Think we should start a petition? ;)

:-k  What the heck are you smoking #-oIf she gets in the top ten in the nation can I get her 8x10 autograph. You sound like my Dad trying to live through me when I was 14 he thought I was going to get drafted straight into the majors as a catcher.

Well I am not all that much a hater good luck on quest to glory

ahh yes. the hater crowd. almost forgot about that nasty lot.

i am sure she will not be willing to sign when she is ranked there (if it doesn't happen this year she will be there in 2010).

i guess the best analogy would be someone who sent Lance a die faster card when he was down for the count fighting cancer... although Lance might be inclined to punch them in the face.

true i am proud of my wife. i am sure your dad was/is proud of you despite your faults (we all have some). the only difference i can see here is that she wants to achieve for herself, not for me or anyone else.

interesting thing to note that one of my training goals for this year is to not get beat up too badly by her in training. i am holding my own so far, don't know how long that will last.

I'm not sure that anyone could push Allison more than she pushes herself.

Good seeing you guys; I still think it's funny that Allison thinks I could possibly hold on to her wheel for more than a few feet #-o

Rim Nordic 1st place plastic medal - 3 dollars
Expert plastic award from Bonelli - 5 dollars
US Expert Champions jersey - 75 dollars

Challenging yourself and hanging with the best there is - Priceless!

My best race ever was the Tahoe Sierra 100 and finishing in the top 25. There was no crowd to great me at the finish...no podium presentation, none of that. Lining up with the likes of Eatough, Bishop and Tostado...some of the best...those results are the ones that matter!

I guess I state my intentions right under my name to the left. (All in good conversation though brother :)).
